IRAQI GATHERING 2009 – SPECIAL EVENT

May 2, 2009 _ Amman _ Under the patronage of His Excellency Jordan's Minister of Industry and Trade Eng. Amir al-Hadidi, the fourth Iraqi Gathering 2009 Special Event, will be held May 5_7, 2009, 10 AM _ 4 PM in Holiday Inn Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The Iraqi American Chamber of Commerce and Industry "IACCI" will organize the Iraqi Gathering. The Gathering will be attended by more than 100 top Iraqi companies, senior Iraqi and Jordanian government officials, the Iraqi National Investment Board, Joint Contracting Command-Iraq/Afghanistan, Iraq-based Industrial Zones, and Provisional Reconstruction Team and local and international Media.
All businessmen are invited to attend the Gathering and there is no need for prior registration.
The aim of the Gathering is to bring together businessmen from all over the world with Iraqi businessmen in order to explore business opportunities in Iraq.
"Strengthening Iraq private sector, through well organized events like Iraq gathering has continued to be our priority," stated Raad Ommar, CEO, Iraqi American Chamber of Commerce and Industry "IACCI".
"Jordan holds special economic relations with Iraq and to that end we invite all businesses in Amman to visit us on the 5th of May, and learn more about potential investment opportunities in Iraq," he added.
The Gathering is expected to be attended by thousands of visitors from an international show that will take place at the same time of the Gathering.
